I came into the coaching industry with passion, pizazz, and a whole lot of heart. I was ready to change the world of health and to live my true purpose as a successful and acknowledged master in my field.

I knew the three keys to online success were in visibility; to really do something that had me grab attention in the eyes of my followers and that positioned me as an expert in my field in a way that felt in alignment with who I am and what I do. But everything I tried just seemed to get lost in the sea of voices, videos and sales pages in the busy online space.

I was spinning my wheels trying to balance money spent on marketing and making a good living doing what I loved...coaching women!

I knew I had to do something to get out of the rut I was in. I was getting burnt out and discouraged and felt like quitting my business…more than once!

I was tired of playing small, of trying to get noticed and being ignored and I was ready to really share my message with the world but felt trapped because I hadn’t made a name for myself yet!

And then the miracle happened...

You know the one... You make a decision that something has to change and you seek Divine guidance to take the next right step… and then BANG, there it is!

I was talking with a peer coach who had just published her own book and was not only gaining traction in the online space from this alone but in fact had drawn in media attention and was even being featured on large broadcasting channels for her book, and her movement in the health coaching community!

This wasn’t a superstar coach who had been around for 10 years.

She wasn’t someone who had a doctorate in counseling or knew the top broadcasters in the industry. No, what I recognized in that moment is that - she was just like me!

She needed to leverage her business to get seen as an expert in her field, she had a passion to get her message out to millions, and she knew she had a book inside of her for years…even though it was deep deep down, buried by fear at one point!

Relief flooded through my body.

I could do this.

I knew I had a story to tell. I had a program to share, and I had knowledge the world needed to hear.

In that moment, I knew there was a more fulfilling, happier business waiting for me.

I made the decision right then and there that I would publish and launch my book within 6 months.

I was not going to let this moment pass without taking inspired action!

I knew that I was stuck, and I knew something had to change. I knew I didn’t have to be the perfect writer to leverage my business with my truth!

I was ready!

Fast forward to 6 months down the road...

I was getting ready to launch the book that would change my career forever.

I had no idea at the time but I knew I had nothing to lose in trying! In fact, I knew that deep down this would be a bucket list item I would cross off the list with such pride!

I couldn’t believe the feedback I was getting just by sharing my upcoming book launch!

Clients were coming out of the woodwork wanting to work with me! I was contacted by sites such as Huffington Post and Mind Body Green to be a feature story… and I had booked and released interview in one of the biggest Canadian subscriptions going: Canadian Living Magazine!
